At least a dozen members of the House of Representatives are currently under investigation by that body's ethic's committee. A Washington Post reporter recently stumbled upon this information on the internet, accidentally put there by one of the committee staffers.
Besides that 'artful dodger' Charlie Rangel, we can add California Democrat Congresswoman,Maxine Waters to the list-Waters tried to use her influence on the House Financial Services Committee to help a bank, on whose board her husband once served and in which he has stock. Ms. Waters is the no. 3 Dem on that committee and the chairman of the subcommittee on housing. Ms. Waters was very vocal this past summer about the tea party protestors-she called them racists. She said, "I want those people talked to; I want them interviewed..." Well, Ms. Waters. It appears you're the one about to be interviewed. Try not to lose a lip fast-talking out of both sides of your mouth.
